2004-W NGC PF-69 1 oz American Silver Eagle Proof Coin
Silver Eagles are the official silver coin of the United States, introduced in 1986 along with the Gold Eagle Coin as part of the American Eagles Program.
Also, in 1986, the US Mint began producing Proof Silver Eagles. These coins share similar characteristics with their bullion counterparts, including a weight of one troy ounce, 99.9% fine silver content, a face value of USD 1, and legal tender status. However, Proof Silver Eagles are distinguished by their unique mirror-like finish.
In 2004, the US Mint issued 801,602 Proof Silver Eagles in total.
These Proof Silver Eagles are specifically produced at the West Point Mint, one of the branches of the US Mint, and bear its mintmark.

Adolph A. Weinman’s Walking Liberty has the American flag draped on her shoulder, oak, and laurel branches in one arm, and the other stretched in a welcome sign to those looking for a new home in America.
The obverse also features the inscriptions “LIBERTY,” “IN GOD WE TRUST,” and the year of issuance.
An NGC PF-69 Coin
The Sheldon Grading Scale ranges from 1 to 70 and is used as a parameter for third-party services, like NGC, which stands for Numismatic Guaranty Company, to appraise and grade coins.
According to the scale, PF stands for Proof Coin, indicating a coin produced for collection purposes, which exhibits mirror-like surfaces in contrast with frosted design elements. 69 is the grade attributed to coins whose flaws are almost invisible.
