The Design

The obverse design features the nation as a feminine figure, Lady Liberty, with the American flag draped on her shoulder and oak branches on her arm. 

She walks with a stretched arm, welcoming those looking for shelter. The word “LIBERTY” is inscribed on top, the motto “IN GOD WE TRUST” is on the lower right, and “2025” is at the bottom rim.

On the reverse, the Bald Eagle offers a more natural depiction, perching on a branch. The coin’s weight, metal content, and purity information read “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” “ONE DOLLAR,” “1 OZ,” and “FINE SILVER” and encircle the image. 

An NGC MS-69 “Early Release” Coin

Renowned international services work independently of sovereign mints, like the NGC - Numismatic Guaranty Company, analyzing the coins submitted to their assessment using the Sheldon Scale, which ranks coins from 1 to 70.

According to NGC, “Early Release” refers to coins purchased from their original mint within 30 days of their official release and submitted to its appraisal.

Mint State coin or “MS” refers to a coin minted as a business coin that has never circulated. The number 69 means the coin has its original luster preserved despite minor or non-detracting contact marks or flaws, which are almost invisible.
