The Design

The obverse depicts Lady Liberty, with the American flag draped on her shoulder and oak branches on her arm. As she walks with an outstretched arm, she welcomes those seeking shelter.

The word “LIBERTY” is engraved on top, the motto “IN GOD WE TRUST” is on the lower right, and “2026” is at the bottom rim.

The reverse portrays a more natural Bald Eagle perched on a branch. The words “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” “ONE DOLLAR,” “1 OZ,” and “FINE SILVER” refer to the coin’s weight, metal content, and purity.

Third-party services like NGC (Numismatic Guaranty Company) use the Sheldon Scale, which ranges from 1 to 70, as a standard for grading coins worldwide.

According to NGC, “Early Releases” refers to coins purchased from their original mint within 30 days of their official release and submitted to its appraisal.

MS stands for Mint State and corresponds to a coin issued in the same format as a widely circulated sample. However, it has never been in circulation, so it shows no signs of wear, tear, or contact with other coins. Hence, the grade 70.
