2024-(P) NGC MS-69 Early Releases Star Privy 1 oz American Silver Eagle Coin Mint Error Clashed Dies
The American Silver Eagle, first introduced in 1986 as part of the American Eagle Program, is celebrated for its stunning designs and iconic national symbols. It has earned its place as one of the most beloved coins in history.
This special edition coin, produced by the US Mint in collaboration with Nice Gang—a video game company behind the mobile RPG Eight Era—aims to inspire coin collecting within the gaming community by offering physical collectibles as in-game rewards.
Limited to just 500,000 pieces, these coins were struck at the Philadelphia Mint and include enhanced security features, along with a unique Star Privy on the obverse beneath the motto “IN GOD WE TRUST,” marking a first for the series.
However, minting errors are uncommon; when they occur, they become highly valuable collectibles.
A clashed die error occurs when the obverse and reverse dies strike each other without a coin blank in between, causing parts of one die’s design to imprint onto the other. Coins struck with these damaged dies show faint or partial design elements from the opposite side, creating a unique and collectible mint error.
Today, SD Bullion offers the 2024-(P) Star Privy 1 oz American Silver Eagle Coins with Mint Error Clashed Dies. These coins were purchased from the US Mint within 30 days of their official release and sealed by NGC as MS-69.
