Record Central Bank Gold Bullion Buying Admitted Q1 2023
Beginning the year 2023, Government Central Banks admitted to buying 1,136 metric tonnes or just over 36,523,195 troy ounces of Official Gold Bullion Reserves in 2022.They followed that up with officially buying 1,037 metric tonnes or just over 33,340,275 oz of gold bullion in the year 2023. Both figures are the first and second largest buying respectiovely by governments in history.
