For the first time, the Royal Mint and the US Mint have joined forces to create a precious metals series that embodies the shared values of two great nations: the United Kingdom and the United States.

The series reached its second release in 2025, celebrating this enduring partnership. The Royal Mint issues the British Britannia and Liberty Coin, which holds legal tender status in the UK. Meanwhile, the US Mint strikes the US Liberty and Britannia Silver Medal and Gold Coin.
The Shared Design
At the heart of this collection lies a striking, reverse design featuring Britannia and Liberty side by side. Both symbols of strength and freedom are depicted in a breathtaking right-profile close-up.
Britannia, donning a Corinthian helmet and holding her trident, exudes resilience. Liberty's flowing hair, adorned with stars, carries a torch high, illuminating the ideals of independence and hope.

- US Liberty and Britannia Silver Medal and Gold Coin (US Mint) – Showcases a breathtaking scene where the sun rises over the Atlantic Ocean, framed by two shores. A Great Basin Bristlecone Pine tree in the west and an English Yew tree in the east symbolize both nations, heralding new possibilities for mutual friendship now and in the future. You will also notice that Liberty's and Britannia's positions are inverted in this design.
