2007-W NGC PF-69 1 oz American Silver Eagle Proof Coin
American Silver Eagles were first released in 1986 as part of the US Mint's American Eagle Program, which also introduced the American Gold Eagle.
The Silver Eagle is a legal tender dollar coin containing one troy ounce of silver. Besides its intrinsic value, the coin's design, created by Adolph A. Weinman and Chief Engraver John Mercanti, embodies the core values of the Founding Fathers through its iconic artistry.
Proof Silver Eagles share the same setting as their bullion counterparts, but they are enhanced by the proof finish.
These exquisite Proof Silver Eagles, in particular, feature the "W" mint mark on the reverse side, indicating they were meticulously crafted at the West Point Mint.

The obverse features Lady Liberty draped in the American flag, striding towards the sun with oak and laurel branches in her arm.
The design is completed with the word "LIBERTY," the motto "IN GOD WE TRUST," and the year of issuance. The "W" mint mark from the West Point Mint is also included.
An NGC PF-69 Coin
The Sheldon Grading Scale ranges from 1 to 70 and is used as a parameter for third-party services, like NGC, which stands for Numismatic Guaranty Company, to appraise and grade coins.
According to the scale, PF stands for Proof Coin, indicating a coin produced for collection purposes, which exhibits mirror-like surfaces in contrast with frosted design elements. 69 is the grade attributed to coins whose flaws are almost invisible.
