1882 NGC MS-63 Morgan Silver Dollar Coin
In 1878, the US Mint introduced Morgan Dollars, weighing .7734 oz of 90% silver and designed by George T. Morgan to be the US’ official circulating dollar coin.
Morgan Dollar production ceased in 1904 and was reintroduced in 1921. After a century, the US Mint released a special strike to celebrate 100 years of its last official mintage as a circulating coin.

An NGC MS-63 Coin
NGC—Numismatic Guaranty Company appraises and grades coins independently from sovereign mints. It uses the Sheldon Grading Scale to rank coins from 1 to 70.
MS stands for Mint State, indicating a coin produced in a business circulation sample format. Grade 63 indicates that the coin may present marks and minor visible hairlines but still have an attractive overall appearance.
