The Peace Dollar boasts .7734 troy ounces of silver per coin. The brief mintage run, appealing design, and easy finish make it an exceptional option for first-time silver buyers. The silver Peace Dollar was minted between 1921 and 1928 and again between 1934 and 1935 and is one of the finest coins to begin a collection with and is an excellent choice for experienced 90% silver stackers. These coins are in BU condition and could be different mints and dates between 1922 and 1935.

The obverse of these silver coins features the designer’s wife portrayed his wife as Lady Liberty with a crown modeled after the crown on the Statue of Liberty. The word “LIBERTY” is at the top, with the year minted along the bottom. The words “IN GOD WE TRVST” are minted towards the bottom of the coin as well.

The reverse of these Peace Dollars features a regal looking bald eagle the words “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA” are minted along the top with the words “E PLURIBUS UNUM” just below. The words “ONE” & “DOLLAR” are minted on either side of the eagle and the word “PEACE” is minted at the very bottom of the coin. Also, if there were a mintmark it would be either an S or D and would be minted just above the eagle’s tail feathers.
