Pre-1921 PCGS MS-62 Morgan Silver Dollar
Morgan Silver Dollars are among the most sought-after silver coins in the United States.
These coins, designed by George T. Morgan with a 38mm diameter and a silver content of .7734 Troy oz, were the nation's official one-dollar currency from 1878 to 1904.
In 1921, these iconic coins made a short-lived return to the bullion market with slight design modifications. Their production soon ceased, giving way to the introduction of Peace Silver Dollars.
Today, SD Bullion offers Pre-1921 Morgan Silver Dollar Coins of varied mintages, sealed in PCGS slabs and certified as MS-62 coins.

The Design
Morgan Dollars are named after their design creator, Chief Engraver George T. Morgan.
On the obverse, Morgan designed Lady Liberty in a left-profile depiction surrounded by the year of issuance, a sequence of thirteen six-pointed stars, and the motto “E PLURIBUS UNUM.”.
The reverse features the Bald Eagle, with open wings, arrows, olive branches on its paws, and some laurels beneath it. The motto “IN GOD WE TRUST” is above the Eagle’s head, and the engravings “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA” and “ONE DOLLAR” encircle the whole image.
A PCGS MS-62 Coin
PCGS - Professional Coin Grading Service is a renowned third-party service that appraises and grades coins using the Sheldon Scale as a parameter, which ranks from 1 to 70.
An MS coin indicates a Mint State coin, that is, a coin issued as a business circulation one. Grade 62 suggests that the coin may present marks and hairlines in focal areas, noticeable scuff marks, and below-average planchet quality. But acceptable overall appearance.
