2025 PCGS MS-70 First Day of Issue 1 oz American Silver Eagle Coin - Emily Damstra Label
US Silver Eagles immortalize American core values through the iconic designs starring the Bald Eagle and Lady Liberty.
The US Mint first released US Silver Eagles in 1986 as the official silver bullion coin through the American Eagle Coin Program, along with the US Gold Eagle, its one-ounce counterpart.
These coins, in particular, are US Silver Eagles from the 2025 edition, taken on the first day of their public release and sealed by PCGS with Emily Damstra Label.
Emily Damstra is a renowned scientific illustrator and numismatic artist known for her detailed depictions of nature and wildlife. Her numismatic work includes designs for the Royal Canadian Mint and the U.S. Mint, such as the 2021 American Silver Eagle reverse redesign featuring a bald eagle. Damstra's art is celebrated for its precision, attention to detail, and a blend of traditional and digital techniques, showcasing her deep understanding of natural subjects.

A PCGS MS-70 First Day of Issue coin
PCGS (Professional Coins Grading Service) appraises and certifies coins using the Sheldon Grading Scale, which ranks coins from 1 to 70.
PCGS considers a “First Day of Issue” coin a sample purchased from its original mint on the first day of its official release and submitted to its appraisal.
MS stands for Mint State, indicating a coin crafted in the format of a business circulation coin. Since it has never been in circulation, the coin has no flaws, which grants it a 70 grade.
