The Design

The inscription “LIBERTY,” while “IN GOD WE TRUST” and the year of mintage are also engraved.

The reverse showcases the Bald Eagle, a longstanding symbol of the United States, in an updated 2021 version, marking the program’s 35th anniversary. The Eagle is depicted more naturally perched on a branch. 

Additional inscriptions include the coin’s weight, metal content, and purity: “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” “ONE DOLLAR,” “1 OZ,” and “FINE SILVER.”
