Coin Design:

In 2021, the American Silver Eagle reverse was redesigned to feature a new rendition of the Bald Eagle. This new design will be shown on all eagles going forward. The reverse face shows an eagle in flight with an oak branch in its talons.

The renowned depiction of Lady Liberty by artist Adolph A. Weinman appears on the obverse of the 2022 Silver Eagle coin. She is seen approaching the horizon in flowing clothes. The year "2022" appears beneath her, and the phrase "In God We Trust" appears to her right. Finally, below the phase, the artist's initials "AW" can be observed.
