2004 American Silver Eagles For Sale Online

The 2004 Silver American Eagle from the US Mint had production totals of 8,882,754 BU coins. The Silver American Eagle is the top selling bullion coin in the United States. The coin is highly recognizable and is well suited for savvy investors, collectors, and those new to coin collecting as they are the most popular silver bullion choice for investors of all time.

In 1986 the United States Mint began striking the modern American Silver Eagle coin. The coin's obverse design is patterned after Adolph A. Weinman's (1870-1952) design of the Walking Liberty Half Dollar, used between 1916-1947. The reverse depicts the classic bald eagle, America's classic symbol for liberty and freedom.

The American Silver Eagle is the only official investment grade US coin by the US Mint, and contains one troy ounce of .999 pure silver. These coins are legal tender and have a face value of $1 USD.

Item specifications:

Purity: 1 troy oz .999 fine silver
