The Design

The obverse displays the Walking Liberty, created by Adolph A. Weinman. 

Lady Liberty, the feminine personification of the nation, walks toward the sun's rays with a stretched arm, the American flag draped on her shoulder, and oak branches on her other arm. 

The inscriptions engraved on this side include the word “LIBERTY” on top, the motto “IN GOD WE TRUST,” and “2024” at the bottom rim.

The reverse design created by Emily Damstra and introduced in 2021 in the Silver Eagles coin, features a Bald Eagle perching on a branch, accompanied by the coin’s weight, metal content, and purity reading “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” “ONE DOLLAR,” “1 OZ,” and “FINE SILVER.”

The PCGS - Professional Coin is an independent third-party grading service that uses the 1 to 70 Sheldon Scale to appraise and grade coins according to their condition.

The PCGS calls “Advanced Release” those coins that were purchased before the first day of issue at the US Mint branch.

PR stands for Proof Coin, indicating a coin not intended for widespread circulation but for collection purposes. Proof coins exhibit mirror-like surfaces and frosted design elements. Since it has never been in circulation, the coin is flawless, hence a 70 grade.
