The Morgan Dollar Design
The obverse features Lady Liberty wearing a Phrygian cap adorned with wheat and cotton balls and a tiara inscribed “LIBERTY.”
It also displays the motto “E PLURIBUS UNUM,” thirteen five-pointed stars representing the Thirteen Original Colonies, and the year of issuance.
The reverse depicts the Bald Eagle with outstretched wings, holding arrows and olive branches in its talons, and laurels surrounding it. It is also inscribed with the motto “IN GOD WE TRUST” and the words “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA” and “ONE DOLLAR.”
