2012-(S) NGC MS-69 Early Releases 1 oz American Silver Eagle Coin
The American Silver Eagle, the official silver coin of the United States, was introduced to the bullion market in 1986, marking a significant milestone in the American Eagles program.
Made from 1 Troy ounce of 99.9% pure silver, these coins are legal tender and embody the core values of the Founding Fathers through the designs of the Heraldic Eagle and Lady Liberty.
These coins, in particular, lack mint marks identifying their origins. Therefore, NGC distinguishes them by including an “S” in parentheses on their labels to identify those issued at the San Francisco Mint.
Today, SD Bullion offers 2012-(S) 1 oz American Silver Eagle Coins purchased from the US Mint within 30 days of their official release. They are sealed and certified as MS-69 by NGC.

The design also includes face value, weight, metal content, and purity, as well as the words "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," "1 OZ FINE SILVER," and "ONE DOLLAR. "
An NGC MS-69 “Early Releases” Coin
Numismatic Guaranty Company (NGC) is renowned worldwide for assessing and grading coins using the Sheldon Grading Scale, which scores coins from 1 to 70 according to their condition.
For NGC, “Early Releases” refer to coins purchased from the original mint within the first 30 days of their official release and taken to its appraisal.
MS stands for Mint State. Mint State coins are shaped as business coins. Grade 69 is attributed to coins whose flaws are almost invisible.
