The Design

The obverse showcases Lady Liberty folded in the American flag, striding towards the sun with the oak and laurel branches in her arm. The word “LIBERTY” arches over the image, the motto “IN GOD WE TRUST” is aside, and the year of issuance is at the bottom rim.
