1922 NGC MS-63 Peace Dollar Silver Coin
Introduced in 1921 to represent peace and renewal after World War I, the Peace Dollar succeeded the Morgan Dollar as the official U.S. silver dollar.
Created by Italian-American sculptor Anthony de Francisci, it was minted by the U.S. Mint from 1921 to 1928, with additional production in 1934 and 1935.
Like the Morgan Dollar, each Peace Dollar contains 0.7734 ounces of 90% silver.
