1921 NGC BU Morgan Dollar Silver Coin - Original Bag Fragment
From 1878 to 1904, the US Mint produced Morgan Dollars, designed by George T. Morgan, as the official one-dollar coins. They contained 0.7734 ounces of silver.
Production of the Morgan Dollar resumed briefly in 1921 before it was phased out. These 1921 Morgan Dollars, in particular, come from an original mint shipping bag and have been authenticated by NGC.

The Design
The obverse depicts Lady Liberty wearing a Phrygian cap adorned with wheat and cotton balls and a tiara inscribed “LIBERTY.”
The artistry includes the motto “E PLURIBUS UNUM,” thirteen five-pointed stars representing the Thirteen Original Colonies, and the year of issuance.
On the reverse, the Bald Eagle has outstretched wings, arrows, and olive branches in its talons and laurels surrounding it.
It is accompanied by the motto “IN GOD WE TRUST,” the words “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA” and “ONE DOLLAR.”
