1923 NGC MS-63 Peace Dollar Silver Coin
The U.S. Mint introduced the Peace Dollar in 1921 as a tribute to peace and optimism after World War I.
Designed by Italian-American sculptor Anthony de Francisci, Peace Dollars replaced the Morgan Dollar as the nation’s official silver dollar. Peace Dollars were minted from 1921 to 1928, with additional issues in 1934 and 1935.
Each coin, like the Morgan Dollar, contains 0.7734 ounces of 90% silver.

An NGC MS-63 coin
Numismatic Guaranty Company (NGC) appraises and grades coins using the Sheldon Grading Scale, which ranks coins from 1 to 70 based on their condition.
MS stands for Mint State, indicating a coin produced in a business circulation sample format. Grade 63 indicates that the coin may present marks and minor visible hairlines but still have an attractive overall appearance.
