Morgan Dollars were first introduced by the U.S. Mint in 1878. They showcase a design crafted by Chief Engraver George T. Morgan and contain .7734 oz of silver.
These coins served as the official dollar for circulation until 1904, with a brief revival in 1921. They were minted at various U.S. Mint facilities, including Philadelphia, New Orleans, Denver, San Francisco, and Carson City, though production in Carson City ceased in 1893.
Coins marked with an "O" mint mark were struck at the New Orleans Mint.
At SD Bullion, 1901-O Morgan Silver Dollar Coins are sealed in PCGS slabs and certified as MS-64 coins.
