1889 PCGS MS-62 Morgan Dollar Silver Coin

The US Mint crafted Morgan Dollars between 1878 and 1904, in 1921, to circulate as the US official dollar coin.

Morgan Silver Dollar is a masterpiece of classical American coinage. While Lady Liberty symbolizes freedom and opportunity, the bald eagle represents the nation’s strength and readiness for peace.

George T. Morgan’s artwork blends elegance and power. Its timeless design remains a staple in U.S. coin collections, admired for its aesthetic appeal and craftsmanship.

At SD Bullion, you can find 1899 Morgan Silver Dollar Coins, graded as MS-62 samples by PCGS.

The motto “IN GOD WE TRUST,” the words “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA” and “ONE DOLLAR” are also included.

A PCGS MS-62 coin

PCGS - Professional Coin Grading Service appraises and grades coins using the Sheldon Grading Scale, which ranks coins from 1 to 70 based on their condition.

An MS coin indicates a Mint State coin, that is, a coin issued as a business circulation one. Grade 62 suggests that the coin may present marks and hairlines in focal areas, noticeable scuff marks, and below-average planchet quality. But acceptable overall appearance.
