The Philadelphia, Denver and San Francisco Mints were the mint locations that produced Silver Peace Dollars. The total mintage of Silver Peace Dollars is over 190 million Peace Dollars minted at San Francisco or Denver will have a mintmark, while Philadelphia mint coins would not carry a mint mark.

The obverse of the Peace Dollar features the designer’s wife portrayed his wife as Lady Liberty with a crown modeled after the crown on the Statue of Liberty. The word “LIBERTY” is at the top, with the year minted along the bottom. The words “IN GOD WE TRVST” are minted towards the bottom of the coin as well.

The reverse of these coins feature a regal looking bald eagle the words “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA” are minted along the top with the words “E PLURIBUS UNUM” just below. The words “ONE” & “DOLLAR” is minted on either side of the eagle and the word “PEACE” is minted at the very bottom of the coin. Also, if there were a mintmark it would be either an S or D and would be minted just above the eagle’s tail feathers.
