Pre-1921 NGC BU Morgan Dollar Silver Coin - Original Bag Fragment
The Morgan Dollar, created by designer George T. Morgan, was the official U.S. dollar coin from 1878 to 1904. It contained 0.7734 ounces of silver.
It was briefly minted again in 1921, and a commemorative edition was issued in 2021 to mark the 100th anniversary of its last production.
These iconic coins were struck at U.S. Mint locations in Philadelphia, New Orleans, Denver, San Francisco, and Carson City.
These coins, in particular, were taken from an original bag fragment and submitted for NGC appraisal.
Today, SD Bullion offers Morgan Silver Dollars issued until 1921 and certified by NGC as Brilliant Uncirculated coins. However, the mintage year may vary according to our inventory availability when shipping.
