The Special Privy Mark
The 250th Anniversary privy mark features the official U.S. Army emblem.
It is circular, with a bold outer ring that reads “UNITED STATES ARMY” along the top and bottom. Inside the ring, there are five-pointed stars arranged evenly around the border.
At the center is the Great Seal of the United States: a bald eagle with wings outstretched. In its talons, the eagle clutches an olive branch, symbolizing peace, and a bundle of arrows, symbolizing readiness for war.
The eagle’s chest is protected by a shield, and above its head is a circle containing the original 13 stars, representing the first thirteen colonies.
