1922 PCGS MS-65 Peace Dollar Silver Coin
The US Mint first released the Peace Dollar in 1921 as the US official dollar coin to celebrate the end of World War I. Its special-themed design, signed by artist Anthony de Francisci, elevates hope and renewal.
They circulated in the US from 1921 to 1928 and again from 1934 to 1935. In 2021, the US Mint struck a special edition to celebrate the centennial of its first issuance, but its popularity made it a regular strike.

A PCGS MS-65 coin
PCGS (Professional Coin Grading Service) appraises and grades coins using the Sheldon Scale, which ranks coins from 1 to 70.
An MS-65 coin means that the analyzed coin has the same format as a business coin that still displays high-quality luster despite its aged mintage. Minor contact marks and scatters may be noticeable, but the coin has an overall quality above the average.
