1883-CC Morgan Silver Dollar Coin - BU - GSA with box & COA
Morgan Silver Dollars were the official dollar coins in the US from 1878 to 1904 and once more in 1921. The US Mint issued them at several facilities, including the Carson City Mint, until it ceased coining operations in 1893.
Those Morgan Dollars manufactured from 1882 and 1884 were hoarded in the US Treasury until the GSA - General Services Administration was allowed to sell the hoarded silver dollars to the public in 1970.
Today, SD Bullion offers these 1883-CC Morgan Silver Dollar Coins in BU condition, originally sealed in the GSA slabs, housed in black boxes personalized with a message from President Nixon, accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
