1882-CC Morgan Silver Dollar Coin - BU - GSA with box & COA
The US Mint produced numerous strikes of Morgan Silver Dollars through its Carson City Mint until the facility ceased coining operations in 1893.
The Morgan Dollars manufactured from 1882 and 1884 in Carson City were hoarded in the US Treasury until the GSA - General Services Administration was allowed to sell the hoarded silver dollars to the public in 1970.
Today, SD Bullion proudly offers 1882-CC Morgan Silver Dollar Coins in BU condition. They were originally sealed in the GSA slabs and housed in black boxes lined with light-blue velvet-like material. The boxes are personalized with a message from President Nixon and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
