The Design
The design recreates the first U.S. dollar coin.
The obverse features Lady Liberty's effigy with her loose hair surrounded by 15 stars, symbolizing the 15 states that had ratified the Constitution by 1794.
The artistry includes the inscription "LIBERTY" and an updated "2024" date.
The reverse depicts an eagle with outstretched wings, a precursor to the American heraldic eagle, surrounded by a laurel wreath and the inscription "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA."
