2024 NGC MS-70 First Day of Issue 1/10 oz American Eagle Gold Coin - Exclusive Reagan Label
The 1/10 oz coin is the smallest Gold Eagle of the series, first released in 1986.
Ronald Reagan, the 40th and one of the most popular US Presidents in history, played a pivotal role in the production of American Eagle coins. Not only was he a fierce advocate for coin collecting and bullion investing, but he also signed the Liberty Coin Act of 1985 and the Bullion Coin Act of 1985, which kickstarted the production of US Gold and Silver Eagles.
Additionally, he issued a Presidential Proclamation during his government, making the week of April 17, 1983, the "National Coin Week".
This 22k gold coin holds a 5-dollar face value and is fully backed by the US federal government. It features Saint-Gaudens’ Lady Liberty and Jennie Norris’ Bald Eagle designs.
Today, SD Bullion offers 2024 1/10 oz American Gold Eagles, among those available for the public in the US Mint on day #1, certified by NGC as MS-70 coins and sealed with our exclusive Ronald Reagan Facsimile Signature label with his portrait overlaying the Oval Office.

An NGC MS-70 First Day of Issue coin
NGC—Numismatic Guaranty Company appraises coins independently from sovereign mints, grading them using the Sheldon Scale, which ranges from 1 to 70 depending on their condition.
NGC considers “First Day of Issue” a coin purchased from the US Mint on the very first day it was made publicly available.
MS or Mint State is a piece with the same format as a widespread circulation coin that remained uncirculated. Grade 70 is given to coins with no visible flaws.
