The Design

The Lunar Legends Series is composed of minted bars that are rectangularly shaped with rounded edges. They showcase a bright luster due to their proof-like finish and imprinted design elements on both sides.

In the obverse, a starry sky works as a background for the new moon, in the spotlight, surrounded by twelve larger stars corresponding to each animal of the lunar circle.

The inscriptions are portrait-oriented, starting with PAMP’s logo on top, followed by the bar’s hallmarks regarding weight, metal content, and fineness, through “5g GOLD 999.9.”

The bar’s unique serial number and the assayer’s mark complete the image at the bottom.

The reverse design features the twisted body of the Azure Dragon with the corresponding Chinese symbol on the lower left.
