2016 US Mint American Gold Eagle Proof Set For Sale



Each Gold American Eagle Proof Set has a 1 oz, 1/2 oz, 1/4 oz, 1/10 oz encapsulated gold proof in a collector's box that also includes a Certificate of Authenticity from the US Mint.

The modern Gold American Eagle series began in 1986. The obverse side is that of Lady Liberty created by Augustus Saint Gaudens, the design used for the 1907-1933 $20.00 US Double Eagle gold coin. The reverse features a heraldic eagle flying in to its nest accompanying another perched eagle.

The 1 oz Gold Eagle has a face value of $50. The 1/2 oz Gold Eagle has a face value of $25. The 1/4 oz Gold Eagle has a face value of $10. The 1/10 oz Gold Eagle has a face value of $5. As an official US Mint product, Gold Eagles are eligible for Gold IRA accounts, making them perfectly suited for your retirement account.
