1900 PCGS MS-64 Morgan Dollar Silver Coin

The 1900 Morgan Silver Dollar is a lasting symbol of American coinage, reflecting the artistic craftsmanship and historical importance of the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

The US Mint produced this coin for general circulation between 1878 and 1904, with a final issue in 1921.

George T. Morgan’s design embodies an era of American expansion and prosperity, adding historical relevance to its .7734 silver content.

SD Bullion sells 1900 Morgan Silver Dollar Coins, graded as MS-64 samples by PCGS.

The Design

The motto “IN GOD WE TRUST,” the words “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” “ONE DOLLAR,” and the “O” mint mark from the New Orleans Mint complete the design.

A PCGS MS-64 coin

PCGS - Professional Coin Grading Service appraises and grades coins using the Sheldon Grading Scale, which ranks coins from 1 to 70 based on their condition.

MS stands for Mint State, referring to coins issued in the same format as a business circulation coin. 64 is the grade given to coins with average luster, noticeable, light scuff marks, or defects but with attractive overall quality.
