1899-O NGC MS-63 Morgan Dollar Silver Coin
The first strike of Morgan Silver Dollar coins in the US occurred from 1878 to 1904, and they were re-issued in 1921 as the official dollar coin for popular circulation.
The coin's design, signed by US Mint Chief Engraver George T. Morgan, reflected the US’ golden era of economic optimism and industrial growth.
One notable feature of some Morgan Silver Dollars is the mintmarks, which indicate where the coin was produced. The coins minted in New Orleans bear the “O” mint mark.

An NGC MS-63 Coin
NGC (Numismatic Guaranty Company) appraises and grades coins using the Sheldon Grading Scale. It operates independently of sovereign mints and certifies coins from 1 to 70.
MS stands for Mint State, indicating a coin produced in a business circulation sample format. Grade 63 indicates that the coin may present marks and minor visible hairlines but still have an attractive overall appearance.
