1885-CC PCGS MS-65 CAC Sticker Morgan Silver Dollar Coin
Carson City struck Morgan Dollars are always in HIGH demand - this 1885 example has always been respected amongst all of them as having the LOWEST mintage of all the Carson City Morgans with only 228,000 examples struck (By way of comparison, the Philadelphia or "Mother Mint" produced over 17 Million coins in 1885.) This coin is frosty and conservatively graded in MS65. The "CAC" attribution obviously signifies that it is solid for the grade. The cheek of Miss Liberty, as you would expect, is clean and nearly unblemished. This is certainly a "stand-out" Morgan and an important mint mark and date combination!
