Morgan Silver Dollars are among the most captivating silver coins for generations.
Minted during a dynamic period of American expansion, these silver dollars reflect the rich cultural heritage and economic development of the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
The US Mint released a commemorative edition of Morgan Silver Dollars in 2021 to celebrate the centennial of its last official mintage.
Over the years, the US Mint has crafted Morgan Dollars through several official branches. Those issued in the New Orleans Mint carry the “O” mint mark.

The motto “E PLURIBUS UNUM,” thirteen five-pointed stars representing the Thirteen Original Colonies, and the year of issuance complete the image.
The reverse showcases the Bald Eagle with outstretched wings, arrows, and olive branches in its talons and laurels surrounding it.
It also features the motto “IN GOD WE TRUST,” the words “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA” and “ONE DOLLAR,” and the “O” mint mark from the New Orleans Mint.
An NGC MS-63 Coin
NGC—Numismatic Guaranty Company appraises and grades coins independently from sovereign mints. It uses the Sheldon Grading Scale to rank coins from 1 to 70.
MS stands for Mint State, indicating a coin produced in a business circulation sample format. Grade 63 indicates that the coin may present marks and minor visible hairlines but still have an attractive overall appearance.
