Morgan Silver Dollar is a silver coin renowned for its elegance and historical value.
The US Mint crafted them during the transformative years of 1878 to 1904 and briefly in 1921, featuring the exquisite work of George T. Morgan. Celebrating the landmark of a century after its last issuance, in 2021, a special edition was issued.
Coins with the "S" mint mark identify the San Francisco branch which issued them.
SD Bullion has 1879-S Morgan Silver Dollar Coins available for purchase. They are graded as MS-64 samples and sealed in the rare Old Green Holders, which PCGS used to encapsulate coins from 1989 to 1998.

A PCGS MS-64 coin
PCGS (Professional Coin Grading Service) appraises and grades coins using the Sheldon Grading Scale as a parameter. It works apart from sovereign mints, certifying coins from 1 to 70, according to their condition.
MS stands for Mint State, referring to coins issued in the same format as a business circulation coin. 64 is the grade given to coins with average luster, noticeable, light scuff marks, or defects but with attractive overall quality.
