The Design

Jody Clark found inspiration for the front design in William Wyon’s Una and the Lion design for the Royal Mint’s previous coin series.

The design is portrayed in landscape orientation over a decorated backdrop. The words “DIRIGE DEUS GRESSUS MEOS,” which translate to “May God direct my steps,” supplement the image. 

The reverse side showcases the Royal Mint logo and the bar’s weight, metal content, and purity inscriptions, which read “1 oz 999.9 FINE SILVER,” imprinted on the same background pattern.
