NGC MS-61 $20 St. Gaudens Double Eagle Gold Coin No Motto (Random Year)
The US Mint released the Double Eagle Gold Coins as the American twenty-dollar in 1907 all the way until 1933.
Weighing .9675 Troy oz of gold content and showcasing Saint-Gauden's design with Lady Liberty, this coin holds a special place in the coin collectors' hearts, as the feminine figure representing the US nation and the prelude to the American Gold Eagle is considered one of the most beautiful designs in American coinage.
The traditional American mottos: “E pluribus unum” and “In God we trust,” were not present in the first strikes of the $20 St. Gaudens Double Eagle Gold Coin. However, the “In God we trust” motto was added later, in the middle of 1908.
SD Bullion now offers the $20 St. Gaudens Double Eagle Gold Coins, from those produced in 1907 to mid-1908, sealed in NGC slabs and graded as MS-61 samples.

"LIBERTY" is inscribed at the top of the design, above the sun's rays, while the Capitol Building is subtly depicted on the bottom left, while the year of minting is displayed on the right.
On the reverse side, the Bald Eagle flies above the sun, with the inscriptions "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" and "TWENTY DOLLARS" adorning the top of the coin.
A NGC MS-61 Coin
The NGC - Numismatic Guaranty Company NGC is a third-party coin grading service offering accurate, consistent, and impartial assessment of a coin's authenticity and grade, using the Sheldon Scale as a parameter. The scale ranks coins from 1 to 70 according to their condition. With 1 being the poorest condition and 70 being the perfect state. So, the closer to 70, the better the condition.
An MS coin indicates a Mint State coin, that is, a coin issued as a business circulation one that has never circulated. Grade 61 indicates a coin with a weak or average strike, showing no signs of wear but possessing more marks and/or multiple large abrasions.
Though NGC has created a variety of holders over the years to contain these coins, the type of NGC holder provided may vary based on current inventory.
