The ATB (America The Beautiful) Series was launched to celebrate the rich natural and historical heritage of the United States of America. Since 2010, the US Mint has launched five Silver Quarter Coins every year – each celebrating the beauty of a different state with unique reverse designs.
Each of these silver coins is struck using 5 troy ounces of 0.999 pure silver. Moreover, they are considered legal tender in the United States – bearing $0.25 (Quarter Dollar) face values. Although they are United States quarters, the value of the silver in them far outstrips their face value. Hence, this value is merely indicative of the Government backing these coins enjoy.
The obverse will vary depending on which year and release of that particular year you receive.
These are highly collectible and fun to share 5 oz silver coins minted by the United States Mint. Please note that we will ship whatever inventory we have on hand. They could be burnished or brilliant uncirculated coins based on current inventory holdings.
