2025-W PCGS PR-70 Advanced Releases US Army Privy 1 oz American Silver Eagle Proof Coin
To commemorate the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Army on June 14, 2025, the U.S. Mint has released a special edition American Silver Eagle, distinguished by a unique privy mark.
Founded in 1775, the U.S. Army is the nation’s oldest and most extensive military branch. For two and a half centuries, it has remained steadfast in its mission to defend the United States and promote freedom at home and abroad. Rooted in a legacy of courage, dedication, and strength, the Army plays a vital role in shaping American history and ensuring national security.
These US Silver Eagles, in particular, are proof coins produced in the West Point branch. Therefore, they showcase the “W” mint mark and a stunning mirror-like luster. They were also purchased before their official release and submitted to a PCGS appraisal.
