The Capitol building is seen in the lower left, with rays of the rising sun illuminating the design. "LIBERTY" is inscribed above, and the mint year appears to the right.
The reverse, designed by Jennie Norris, portrays a close-up of a majestic American bald eagle. The detailed rendering captures the powerful gaze and strength of the bird, a timeless symbol of American freedom and resilience.
