The Design

The themed design features a snake coiled around a bamboo trunk, accompanied by the Chinese character for "SNAKE" and its English translation. The reverse also includes the year "2025" and a discreet "P" mint mark on the left, representing the Perth Mint.

The obverse, designed by Dan Thorne, features an effigy of King Charles III. The portrait is framed by the inscriptions "CHARLES III" and "AUSTRALIA" at the top, while the bottom displays "2 oz 9999 Ag" and "2 DOLLARS," denoting the coin’s weight, purity, metal, and face value.

The coin's antique finish darkens the shiny silver tones, giving it a more rustic and natural appearance.
