It also contains the inscription “YEAR OF THE SNAKE,” the Chinese snake character, the “P” mint mark, jasmines, the attractive plants for snakes, and a customized pattern on the outer rim.

Because it is a proof coin, the surfaces exhibit a brilliant lust, highlighting the opal's colors on the reverse and the frosted design elements of the obverse side.
