2025 1 oz Built By Aliens: Stonehenge Proof Silver Coin

The Built by Aliens Series is a unique collaboration between the Native American Mint and CoinJewels. It showcases one-ounce silver coins released in limited editions. 

Each coin features captivating designs inspired by mysterious sites believed by some to have been constructed with extraterrestrial influence. The coins contain 1 troy oz of .999 fine silver and may be of proof or colorized finishes.

Stonehenge, a prehistoric megalithic structure in Wiltshire, England, is the second coin of the series. As a series trademark, the coins carry small pieces of Preseli Bluestone, the primary stone used to build the structure.

Stonehenge, built as early as 3000 BC, features massive sarsen stones and smaller bluestones likely transported from Wales, 150 miles away. Though construction methods remain a mystery, some believe supernatural forces were involved. The site may have functioned as a celestial observatory, aligned with events like solstices and eclipses.

The Design

The reverse showcases an Alien spacecraft from which some energy shines upon the Stonehenge structure. We can see silhouettes of Aliens amidst the giant stones. Lower to the bottom, a small capsule contains bluestone pieces allegedly taken from the monument. The only engraving on this side is at the border and reads, “STONEHENGE.”

Radial lines cover the obverse, which displays the Bald Eagle's close-up depiction beneath the stones’ capsule. The inscriptions that encircle the image are separated by stars and read “ONE DOLLAR,” “999 SILVER,” “1 OZ,” “SOVEREIGN NATION,” “AMERICA 20and 25,” “MESA GRANDE.”
