2024 PCGS MS-70 1 oz Canadian Silver Maple Leaf Coin with Year of the Dragon Privy Mark
The Royal Canadian Mint introduced a special edition of Silver Maple Leaf Coins to celebrate the ascension of a new leader to the British Commonwealth Community, King Charles III.
The Treasure Silver Maple Leaf Series is a limited strike of themed privy marks showcasing the Polar Bear, the Congratulations, and the Dragon marks.
The Dragon privy mark is a reference to the Year of the Dragon. According to Chinese Culture, 2024 is headed by the Dragon, the fifth Astrological sign of the Chinese Lunar Calendar.
You can acquire 2024 1 oz Canadian Silver Maple Leaf Coins with the Year of the Dragon Privy Mark, sealed in PCGS slabs and certified as MS-70 coins at SD Bullion.

On the reverse, the coins exhibit Walter Ott's traditional Maple Leaf design, accompanied by the Dragon Privy Mark.
The engravings “CANADA,” “9999 FINE SILVER 1 OZ ARGENT PUR 9999” describe the coin’s weight, metal content, and fineness in English and French.
Anti-counterfeiting
RCM’s exclusive anticounterfeiting measures protect the Maple Leaf Series. These features include radial lines working as a backdrop on both sides, serrated edges, the RCM Bullion DNA™, and the MINTSHIELD™ surface protection to reduce the occurrence of white spot discoloration.
A PCGS MS-70 Coin
PCGS - Professional Coin Grading Service, like similar third-party services, works independently of sovereign mints appraising and grading coins based on the Sheldon Grading Scale, which ranks coins from 1 to 70 according to their condition.
MS stands for Mint State, referring to a coin made in the same format as a business circulation sample that has never been in circulation. Grade 70 is awarded to flawless coins.
