The Design
The obverse showcases a smiling, long-bearded Santa Claus wearing his Christmas cap in a frontal close-up. In the image, he wears glasses and seems to be making a list. A “MERRY CHRISTMAS” inscription arches over his depiction.
The reverse design is a pattern to the series, featuring “SEASON’S GREETINGS” surrounded by falling snowflakes. On the bottom rim, the engravings describe the round’s weight, metal content, and purity through “ONE TROY OUNCE .999 FINE SILVER.”
These rounds are directly from the mint. There may be mild spotting on either side of the rounds. These do not significantly impair the visibility of the design nor affect the value of the rounds themselves.
