Buy One Ounce Sunshine Mint Silver Buffalo Rounds
Featuring the well-known Buffalo Nickel or Indian Head Nickel designs, these Silver rounds are a brilliant method of owning an iconic American design without going through the hassle of finding the original coin in good condition and paying premiums over spot prices that they command due to their rarity.
These Silver rounds are minted by the Sunshine Mint, which is an American minting facility based in Idaho. It is a private firm and is known for producing quality precious metal bullion products such as rounds and bars.
Each of these Silver rounds contains 1 troy ounce of fine 0.999 pure Silver (Ag). Interestingly, the original design of these coins was created by the sculptor, James Earle Fraser, who said his inspiration came from the prairies where he lived as a boy.
A Native American chieftain is portrayed on the obverse of this Silver round. He is wearing the traditional headgear of Native Americans and showcases a somber expression as he gazes into the distance. Hence, the design reflects and reminds every American of the rich cultural heritage that makes up this great country.
On the other hand, the reverse of this Silver round features the famous side profile of the Buffalo, said to be a depiction of ‘Black Diamond,’ a Buffalo at the Central Park Zoo in New York City at the time. Above its image, the weight of the Silver ‘One Troy Ounce’ is imprinted, followed by the purity ‘999 Fine Silver.’
The Sunshine Buffalo Silver rounds are available at a low premium over the spot price and will make valuable additions to both American precious metals collections and investment portfolios.
