The Footsteps of Jesus is a silver coin series composed of eight samples, progressively released by the Native American Mint in limited editions.

These coins are one-ounce pieces minted with .999 fine silver bullion, intricate design elements and a proof finish.

The Tomb is the seventh release of the series and reproduces the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

As a trademark of the series, this coin carries stone fragments from where Jesus was buried and, three days after, resurrected.

The Design

The obverse side is covered with radial lines with an overlapping close-up depiction of a Bald Eagle at the bottom.

The inscriptions on the outer rim describe the coin’s face value, purity, metal content, weight, issuing nation, and mintage through: “ONE DOLLAR,” “.999 SILVER,” “1 OZ,” “SOVEREIGN NATION,” “AMERICA 2024,” “MESA GRANDE.”

The reverse design offers a version of the resurrection of Jesus. Jesus was buried inside a stone, and from his tomb, crosses can be seen, and the sun's rays shine inside. The inscription at the bottom reads “Tomb of Jesus.”

Because it is a proof coin, it exhibits a mirror-like luster, elegantly contrasted with the design images imprinted with a matte finish.
